Every December, the Borkena Charity brings people together to celebrate the true spirit of the holidays — joy, unity, and giving. Our foundation’s signature event, the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive, invites locals and visitors alike to embrace the festive season, enjoy their favorite community spots, and donate toys for children in need. Together, we turn joyful gatherings into meaningful acts of kindness and good times into goodwill.

Our Mission
The Borkena Charity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering unity and giving back through impactful community events and partnerships. What began as a small gathering filled with joy and purpose has grown into a beloved tradition that uplifts hundreds of families each holiday season.

Get ready to jingle all the way down Pier Avenue and Hermosa Avenue with the Borkena Charity!
Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – Midnight
Cost: Free to participate! Just bring an unwrapped toy 🎁
What to Wear: Ugly sweaters, Santa suits, reindeer onesies—get festive!
Where It Goes: All donated toys will support the Hermosa Beach Police Toy Drive, helping spread warmth, joy, and holiday cheer to children and families in need.
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
💖 Sponsor Us – Partner with us to showcase your business and support the community.
